The Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO) wishes to recruit a highly motivated and well qualified staff member who will join the Plant Variety Expertise Unit (hereinafter referred to as the PVEU). The Unit focuses on the assessment of applications for Community Plant Variety Rights, new technological developments and their impact on technical examination (in particular, on the assessment of Distinctness, Uniformity and Stability requirements, so called DUS). It monitors and harmonise practices in its network of Examination Offices with the purpose to ensure high quality DUS testing in view of granting solid IP rights.
